13th Annual Wine Literary Award Press Tasting - Wine Appreciation Guild

Hosted by the Wine Appreciation Guild of San Francisco, this event is the largest wine tasting for the press in the country. On April 25, 2003, over one hundred wine writers from around the country tasted wines and were asked to vote on their favorite wines in the following categories: Best Package, Best Discovery, Best New Winery and Best of Show. The awards were presented at the Evening Award Banquet in addition to this year’s Wine Literary Award Winner, Michael Broadbent. Arger-Martucci Vineyards was named Best New Winery after entering our 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2001 Pinot Noir and 2001 Chardonnay.
